1) Our mission

Capitalism Institute publishes news and reporting for a U.S. audience. Our goal is to provide timely, accurate information and clearly sourced reporting.

2) Editorial independence

Our editorial decisions are made independently. Advertising, distribution partners, and monetization platforms do not determine what we cover or how we report it.

3) How we create content

Our content creation workflow employs a large team of writers, editors, and copywriters. Every article is heavily reviewed for accuracy and tone. No article is ever published without an editor and/or fact checker reviewing the final content before publishing.

4) Verification and fact-checking

We take accuracy seriously and verify information before publishing. As part of our editorial process, human editors verify relevant details, which may include:

• Names, titles, organizations, and locations
• Dates, timelines, and event details
• Numbers and other quantitative claims
• Attributions (who said what, and where it was said)
• Source links and references supporting key claims

If we cannot verify a material claim, we will either withhold it from publication or clearly qualify it (for example, as “unconfirmed” or “developing,” where appropriate).

5) Sourcing standards

We aim to use reputable, verifiable sources. When available, we prioritize:

• Primary sources (e.g., official statements, public records, court filings, regulatory documents, direct interviews)
• Named, attributable sources over anonymous sources
• Multiple sources when a claim is significant, complex, or disputed

We provide attribution and links when feasible. If information originates from another outlet, we attribute it.

6) News vs. opinion

Unless otherwise labeled, our articles are intended to be news reporting.
If we publish analysis or commentary, we will label it clearly (e.g., “Analysis” or “Opinion”) so readers can distinguish it from straight news reporting.

7) Featured images and AI-generated illustrations

We may use automation tools, including AI, to generate featured images or illustrative graphics used alongside our articles.

These images are intended for visual context and presentation. They are not evidence and should not be interpreted as photographs or direct depictions of real-world events unless explicitly stated.

Editorial responsibility for the accuracy and sourcing of the written content remains with our human editors. If you believe any content on our site is inaccurate or insufficiently supported, please contact us (see Section 10).

8) Corrections and updates

We correct material errors promptly and transparently.

• How to request a correction: Please email contact@aw.localhostdev.com with:
  • the URL of the article,
  • what you believe is incorrect,
  • and any supporting documentation or primary source links.
• How we publish corrections: When we correct a material error, we update the article and add a correction note (typically at the end of the article) describing what changed and when.

9) Advertising and sponsored content

Capitalism Institute displays advertising and may participate in advertising and monetization programs, including (as applicable) Taboola, Google AdSense, and other advertising platforms.

• Advertisements are distinct from editorial content.
• If we publish sponsored or paid content, it will be labeled clearly (e.g., “Sponsored” or “Advertisement”).

10) Ethics and standards

We do not publish plagiarized content and we require original writing or clearly attributed reporting when drawing from other outlets. Staff and contributors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest to editors, and may be reassigned or recused when appropriate. We do not use anonymous sources in our reporting; when attribution is not possible, we either withhold the claim or clearly qualify it as unconfirmed.
